Wood Pigeon Woven Badge

£14.00

Product description from their website:

Katfish Designs is a local maker based in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. Kath handmakes all of the tweedy birds herself, in her small chapel studio surrounded by the Yorkshire Pennines.

“With his plume of petrol and purple Charlie Pigeon is a handsome chap. Wooing his beloved with romantic picnics beneath the bird feeder. As he waddles into view, he may seem a little plump to you. But he assures us, he’s just heavy feathered.”

Charlie Wood Pigeon is made from lilac herringbone Harris tweed with grey and black Yorkshire wool tweed. He has a beady little black resin button eye. His colourful plume has been needle felted from natural merino fibres. The layers of fabric have been appliquéd together and backed with black felt. He fastens with a 2.5cm silver tone bar brooch back.

He Measures approximately 6 x 10cm

Charlie comes displayed on a manilla luggage label.

Because all of the tweedy birds are hand made, they all have a distinct personality. There may be small differences between yours and the one in the picture
