These vibrant glasses cases are hand printed and sewn by highly skilled, disabled artisans in Ecuador. The barbed wire patterned material, a nod to Amnesty’s logo, is printed with environmentally friendly water-based ink on 100% cotton fabric. Each glasses case is lined with felt and fastens with a button.
Amnesty have partnered with Artizan International, who provide training in screen-printing and sewn textiles, providing disabled artisans with skills and employment, lifting them out of poverty. Artizan International is a member of the British Association for Fair Trade Shops & Suppliers (BAFTS)& abides by all 10 of the World Fair Trade Organisation's principles of fair trade.
