Designed for the National Museum of Iceland.
100% silk scarf designed by Icelandic born textile designer Eva Thora, who lives and works in New York. Beautiful pattern based on engraved silver cylinders that are preserved at the national museum of Iceland. Engraved silver cylinders where used as decoration on the caps, the caps are worn as a part of Icelandic women’s national costume.
The silk scarf is made for the National Museum in cooperation with the Icelandic fashion designer Steinunn Sigurðardóttir.
