A charming steam locomotive shaped ceramic teapot for rail enthusiasts. Hand crafted and painted by artisan workers at a pottery in Leyburn, North Yorkshire where the manufacturing process has remained virtually unchanged since the eighteenth century.
The design in green includes gold accents features as well as the all-important engine number and ‘Great Northern’ logo. The central roof structure removes, acting as the lid for the teapot. We also offer the Pullman carriage teapot to match, so you can have a train and carriage teapot set. This teapot can hold approximately 40 Fl oz.
