Specially selected by Sir Lindsay Hoyle, the 158th Speaker of the House of Commons, this exceptional 35-year-old single grain whisky from the Lowland region of Scotland has been chosen to commemorate the completion of the Elizabeth Tower Restoration Project in 2022. It is one of a limited edition of 334 bottles, matching the number of steps to the belfry of the iconic London landmark known the world over as ‘Big Ben’.
The bottle is presented in a handcrafted, UK-made oak box with a magnetic fastening and the House of Commons portcullis engraved on a brass plaque.
About the distillery
Founded in 1824, Cameronbridge Distillery is one of the most prosperous producers of whisky in Scotland. Its alluring spirit, crafted using their revolutionary continuous distillation techniques, showcases a light and elegant character synonymous with exceptionally aged single grain Scotch whisky. Filled into a well-crafted bourbon hogshead in 1987, this glorious spirit has gently developed exceptional complexity and sophistication over 35 years before bottling in 2022.
